Naga groups appeal to NSCN groups to stop fratricide in eastern Nagaland

Dimapur, Jan. 17 -- Major Naga political groups, including the working committee of Naga National Political Groups and NSCN (IM), have appealed to NSCN-Yungaung and NSCN-Angmai to desist from further fratricide in eastern Nagaland.

The political groups argued that forgiveness and acceptance among the Nagas is the only way ahead to assert and assure a just place for the Nagas in the comity of nations.

"The ongoing armed clashes between NSCN groups in eastern Nagaland only refresh the sad and unfortunate chapter in our national struggle," the Naga political groups said in an appeal letter.
