Patna, Sept. 13 -- union Health Minister and BJP National President J.P. Nadda today hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for making "contradictory statements" on voter figures and accused the opposition of irresponsibility in questioning the Election Commission's work.
Speaking on the controversy over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, Nadda said here in a function that Gandhi had displayed "confusion in mathematics." "On February 3, he claimed 70 lakh new voters were added in Maharashtra; by February 7, it became 29 lakh; and on July 9, he said one crore voters had been added.
