Shillong, May 7 -- Chief Ministers of the northeastern states on Wednesday hailed the Indian armed forces for carrying out 24 precision missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Taking to X, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma posted, "Jai hind #OperationSindoor". This is New India. India knows how to respond to its enemies."
Reacting to India's 'Operation Sindoor', striking high-value terror targets deep inside Pakistani territory, Meeghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma wrote on X, "India remembers and India fights back. There is no room for terrorism. Jai Hind."
