Aizawl, July 22 -- The Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), Mizoram's apex students' body, has issued a strong warning to the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL), accusing the agency of consistently failing to maintain quality standards in road construction across the state.

In a resolution passed during its 59th Federal Council meeting, the student body expressed dissatisfaction over NHIDCL's performance, stating that its works were repeatedly found "not up to the mark".

The MZP resolved to continue its efforts to ensure that the agency improves both the quality and pace of its works.
