Mysuru, Oct. 1 -- The city is buzzing with excitement as preparations reach their peak for the grand finale of the 416th Dasara festival, scheduled for October 2. Streets are being adorned with vibrant decorations, floral garlands, and traditional torans, while the air resonates with the rhythmic beats of drums and the melodious strains of temple music.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the day with the time-honored Nandi Dwaja pooja at the north gate of Mysuru Palace, a ceremony steeped in centuries of devotion. Following the pooja, a floral tribute will be offered to Goddess Chamundeshwari, symbolising reverence, prosperity, and the rich cultural legacy that Dasara embodies.
