Aizawl, Dec. 17 -- Representatives of various ethnic organisations in Myanmar along with 113 anti-coup revolutionary groups have jointly appealed to India not to recognise the election being conducted by the country's ruling military junta.
The appeal, issued through a press statement by 'India for Myanmar', urges the Indian government and Parliament to refrain from lending legitimacy to what the groups described as a forced and unrepresentative electoral exercise.
