Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 20 -- The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), a prominent political force in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, is set to expand its presence in North India with the opening of a central office in New Delhi on August 24.
The new headquarters, named the Quaid-e-Millat Centre, will function as the party's organizational hub for North India. It has been named after IUML founder Muhammad Ismail Saheb, popularly known as Quaid-e-Millat, who was a member of the Constituent Assembly and later served in Parliament.
The initiative marks a strategic move by the League to broaden its footprint beyond South India and strengthen its role in addressing issues concerning "minorities and marginalized communities".
