Washington, March 25 -- US billionaire and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has called the acts of vandalism against his electric car maker Tesla "terrorism."

"There is no doubt that shooting bullets into Tesla stores and burning down Superchargers are acts of terrorism," Musk said on X.

On Monday, US media reported, citing police, that several "incendiary" devices were found at a Tesla dealership in the city of Austin in Texas. The devices were reportedly safely removed by police without any incident.

In recent weeks, multiple Tesla vehicles have been targeted in at least 13 states across the United States, according to media reports.
