Hyderabad, March 18 -- Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu on Wednesday informed the Legislative Assembly that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the first phase of the Musi River rejuvenation project has been prepared and submitted, covering key stretches from Himayat Sagar to Bapu Ghat (9.2 km) and Osman Sagar to Bapu Ghat (11.8 km).

Replying to questions during the Question Hour, the Minister stated that the estimated cost for Phase-1 of the project is between Rs 6,500 crore and Rs 7,000 crore.

He said around 1,435 structures are likely to be affected, with final enumeration and valuation of properties currently underway.
