Gurugram, Dec. 11 -- On the outskirts of Gurugram's Cyber City, the village of Tauru houses one of India's most ambitious cultural institutions, the Heritage Transport Museum.
Behind its sleek glass facade lies a sweeping narrative of how the country has moved over centuries, told through objects ranging from palanquins and vintage sedans to concept models of wheel-less bikes.
Tarun Thakral, founder of the 12-year-old museum, says the space is designed to bridge generations. "It not only celebrates our heritage but also helps today's audiences understand how mobility and identity evolved over the decades," he notes.
