Bengaluru, Oct. 16 -- Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murty and Infosys founder Narayana Murthy have declined to take part in the ongoing socio-economic and educational survey, popularly known as the caste survey, being conducted by the Congress-led Karnataka government, stating that their family does not belong to any backward community.
In a self-attested letter to the Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission, the couple conveyed their decision not to share personal details.
"We and our family will not participate in the census, and we are confirming it through this letter," they wrote.
