Bengaluru, Nov. 12 -- Invoking Jawaharlal Nehru's vision of a scientific and progressive India, Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy on Wednesday said curiosity and imagination are the foundation of discovery, urging the nation to build a strong research culture and an ecosystem that values ideas over hierarchy.

Speaking at the announcement of the Infosys Prize 2025, Murthy drew inspiration from Nehru, Richard Feynman and Alan Turing, highlighting the central role of inquiry and imagination in driving human progress.
