Bulandshahr (UP), April 3 -- A man was sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 7,000 by a local court for a murder in the Dibai area of Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh, a prosecution counsel said here.
Public Prosecutor Nitin Tyagi said that Kanhaiya, a resident of Sarai Bairuni locality under Dibai police station, killed Khemkaran of his own village by inflicting serious injuries on his head and private parts in 2005. "The police had registered a case on July 31, 2005 and sent the charge sheet to the court on September 21, 2005," he said.
