Hyderabad, Feb. 15 -- BRS working president and former minister K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) today said the recent municipal election results reflect widespread dissatisfaction within the Congress party, as it failed to secure the number of municipalities it had anticipated.
Interacting with the media here, KTR said Congress leaders were visibly unhappy with the outcome, having fallen well short of their expectations.
He credited the BRS cadre for putting up a strong and spirited fight across the state.
"We expected to win over 30 municipalities. While we have won 17 directly, we also have a strong chance of forming councils in hung municipalities," KTR said.
