Ranchi, Dec. 28 -- The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has intensified its enforcement drive against unauthorised construction and illegal commercial activities within its area, adopting a zero-tolerance approach towards violations of municipal laws and building regulations.
According to an official notification, construction of any building or structure without an approved building plan is strictly prohibited in the Ranchi Municipal Corporation area. Similarly, operation of commercial activities within residential holdings is a clear violation of existing rules. The civic body has been conducting continuous inspection drives across various localities to identify and act against violators.
