Mumbai, Sept. 22 -- Mumbai's water supply situation remains highly positive with all seven lakes supplying water to the city having reached nearly full capacity after heavy monsoon rains this year. According to Chief Engineer of the Municipal Corporation Parshottam Malwade, the current water storage stands at 99.70 percent, which is sufficient to meet the needs of Mumbai's citizens throughout the entire year.

During inspections at Modak Sagar and Tansa lakes, the Public Relations Department and Water Department of the Municipal Corporation provided detailed information about the water distribution system to citizens.
