Mumbai, April 29 -- A major infrastructure gap will be filled on May 1 as the long-awaited 'Missing Link' on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is set to open for public traffic, promising a faster and safer commute between the two cities.
According to an official notification issued, the phased rollout has been finalised by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation in coordination with the traffic police.
As per the plan, the first phase from May 1 to May 31 will permit only light motor vehicles (LMVs), buses and passenger vehicles on the new route.
