Mumbai, May 17 -- Mumbai Police issued prohibitory orders restricting assembly of over five people, any procession, and the use of loudspeakers, musical bands, amplifying instruments, or bursting of crackers in any procession, officials said here on Saturday.
These restrictions will remain in effect from May 17, 2025 till May 31 and apply throughout Brihanmumbai.
A ban on flying of drones and aerial devices, and on firecrackers, is already in place.
