Mumbai, Feb. 21 -- Mumbai Police on Friday arrested two youths from Buldhana district in Maharashtra for sending an email threatening to bomb the car of state Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, officials said.
In this connection, a team from the Mumbai Crime Branch, with the assistance of Buldhana Police, has arrested two persons, who are identified as Mangesh Achyutrao Wayal, aged 35, and Abhay Gajanan Shingane, aged 22.
Both are residents of Deulgaon Mahi, Taluka Deulgaon Raja, Buldhana, Maharashtra, and were apprehended from Deulgaon, District Buldhana.
It may be recalled that various police stations in Mumbai had registered FIRs under sections 351(3), 351(4), and 353(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
