Ch. Sambhajinagar, Aug. 25 -- The Indian Railways has extended the Mumbai-Jalna Vande Bharat Express service to Nanded from tomorrow, fulfilling a long-standing demand of passengers from Mumbai and the Marathwada region.

The train will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai at 1:10 pm and arrive at Nanded at 10:50 pm, an official said.

The train will cover the 610-kilometre distance in 9 hours and 25 minutes.

The return journey will depart from H.S. Nanded Railway Station daily at 5:00 am, arriving at CSMT Mumbai at 2:25 pm.

The service will operate six days a week, remaining non-operational on Wednesdays.
