Mumbai, Aug. 19 -- More than 200 passengers onboard a monorail were brought out by breaking the window after it was stranded for nearly two hours, due to loss of power supply amid heavy rain, officials said here on Tuesday. Rescuers first tried to tow the four-coach monorail - stranded on a curve on the several feet high track near Mysore Colony - to the nearest station with the help of another monorail, but the brakes remained jammed. The passengers were rescued at 8.30 pm by the operations and maintenance teams of the Monorail who were on-site.
