Mumbai, Nov. 29 -- Services on Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line) were severely disrupted on Saturday evening as operations came to an abrupt halt in both directions, leaving commuters stranded at several stations during peak travel hours.
Passengers shared updates on social media, with one commuter reporting that trains had stopped in both directions at CSMIA T2 Station, posting a photograph of a display board indicating a 32-minute wait for the next train. Another passenger travelling from Seepz said they were stuck for nearly an hour before finally boarding a train, only to be asked to disembark at Airport Station as services remained irregular.
