Mumbai, Nov. 26 -- Mumbai observed the seventeenth anniversary of the 26/11 terror attacks on Wednesday with state-level ceremonies held across the city to honour the 166 people killed and more than 300 injured in the 2008 attacks by Pakistani terrorists.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis led tributes at the Mumbai Police Martyrs Memorial inside the Police Commissioner's Office in south Mumbai. He was joined by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, State minister Ashish Shelar, Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla and Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti.

Family members of police personnel killed in the attacks attended the ceremony and observed a silent tribute at the memorial plaque. Police contingents presented arms in salute.
