Mumbai, Aug. 11 -- Mumbai is set to welcome nearly 300 of the world's brightest high school students from a record 64 countries for the 18th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA 2025). The prestigious event, running from August 11 to August 21, marks the largest edition in the competition's 18-year history and signifies India's growing leadership in international science education and scientific networking.

The Olympiad will commence with the opening ceremony scheduled for August 12 at the Lotus Ballroom, Jio World Convention Centre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the gathering with a special message.
