Satara, Dec. 15 -- Mumbai Crime Branch (MCB) police team seized MD drugs and raw materials with an estimated value of Rs 115 crores and arrested seven persons during a two-day raid at a drug manufacturing factory that ended on Saturday.
Acting on an intelligence report that the drugs were being produced in Savari village of Satara district, MCB police team raided the area on Saturday. The raids stretched to Sunday and the police finally were able to dismantle the illegal Mephedrone (MD) manufacturing unit and seized drugs and their raw materials including 7.5 kg of solid Mephedrone (MD), 38 kg of liquid Mephedrone and a large quantity of chemicals and equipment used in the manufacturing process, with an estimated value of Rs 115 crore.
