Mumbai, Oct. 7 -- A special MCOCA court here rejected an application by the prime accused booked in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, seeking CCTV footage of Niramal Nagar police station related to the alleged illegal arrest.

While rejecting the plea of accused Pravin Lonkar, who sought footage from two days October 13, 2024, and October 14, 2024 the court in its order said, "The entire record of the chargesheet did not reflect that the prosecution had relied on or unrelied on the CCTV footage. No evidence was produced by the applicant to show the existence of such CCTV footage.
