Mumbai, March 14 -- A local Court has issued summons against seven office bearers of HILL Properties Ltd, a corporate entity, on a complaint filed by Metaoxide PVT Ltd alleging a decades-long conspiracy that deprived minority shareholders in Hill Properties Ltd of their lawful pre-emption rights relating to a property transaction running into crores of rupees.
The summons, returnable on March 17, was issued by Judicial Magistrate First Class.
The complaint names Dr Rohit Barman, Medical Director of Breach Candy Hospital and Director of Hill Properties Ltd, along with seven other Directors and Akzo Nobel India Ltd (successor to ICI India Limited), in connection with alleged offences including criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust a...
