Mumbai, Dec. 26 -- A Local court here convicted a businessman on charges of feeding pigeons at a Kabutarkhana in Mahim area of the central Mumbai.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bandra, VU Misal, in his order made avilable on Friday convicted businessman, Nitin Seth while directing him to pay a fine of Rs 5000 after he pleaded guilty to the charges leveled against him under sections 223 (disobedience to an order duly promulgated by a public servant) and 271 (negligent act likely to spread infection of a disease dangerous to life) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
