Mumbai, Aug. 4 -- The Mumbai Crime Branch has apprehended a married couple for allegedly operating a counterfeit document network designed to provide fake Indian identity papers to Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in the city. Identified as Purushottam Prasad Sharma (57) and his wife Manju Purushottam Sharma (42) alias Manju, the duo was arrested following a raid on their home in the Sai Sawali Co-operative Housing Society, New MHADA Colony, based on specific intelligence.
