Mumbai, May 29 -- Chief spokesperson of Maharashtra Congress Atul Londhe on Thursday alleged that Mumbai was flooded due to the corruption and mismanagement of the BJP-led coalition government.
Addressing media on Thursday, Londhe said that Mumbai is an international city, but due to the mismanagement of the BJP coalition government, Mumbai was flooded in the first rain. "Why did the Disaster Management Department or BMC not make prior preparations even though the Meteorological Department had warned of rain? Not only did water enter the underground metro station, but Govandi, Bandra, Juhu areas were also flooded," Londhe said.
