Mumbai, Aug. 11 -- The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) once again covered the Mumbai's famous Dadar Kabutarkhana (pigeon feeding point) by erecting tarpaulin sheets over bamboo sticks, officials said here today.

They further said that the same was removed by protesters last week forcefully and had started feeding the pigeons, which was banned by the state government.

Besides covering it, the city police have also set up barricades around the perimeter of the Kabutarkhana to prevent citizens from feeding pigeons and the Riot Control Police have also been deployed to ensure any violence does not occur.
