Mumbai, April 26 -- A light drizzle was witnessed in many parts of Mumbai and its neighbouring districts late Friday night.

Areas like Dadar, Sewri, Matunga Parel and adjoining areas like Navi Mumbai also recorded light rain, ushering in some respite amid the high humidity levels, which left the city sweltering over the past few days.

Weather officials have forecast no further rain in the city even as a yellow alert, indicating thundershowers and moderate rainfall, has been sounded in several districts in Maharashtra's Marathwada and Vidharbha regions.

IMD Colaba observatory on Saturday was 34 celsius.
