Mumbai, April 28 -- An Assistant Commissioner of the Bombay Municipal Corporation accused of sexually assaulting a female architect, was remanded into police custody till April 30 by a local court on Tuesday.
According to the official of the local Parksite police station, accused Nitin Shukla posted in K-East ward , was taken into custody on Monday after the complainant alleged that he had sexually exploited her over the past three years under the false promise of marriage. The two reportedly met through professional work, and their acquaintance gradually developed into a personal relationship.
