Keylong, Dec. 28 -- The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Lahaul Spiti in Himachal Pradesh has issued an advisory urging tourists and local commuters to avoid driving on frozen and risky roads, as a number of routes in the tribal district have become unfit for vehicular movement due to snow, ice, and frost.

As per the latest status report, several key roads remain closed or restricted. The Gramphu-Rohtang Pass, Gramphu-Batal, and Darcha-Sarchu stretches are closed for traffic, while the Darcha-Shinkula road is open only for 4x4 vehicles fitted with snow chains.
