New Delhi, Nov. 18 -- The Saket, Dwarka, and Patiala House courts, as well as two CRPF-run schools, received bomb threats on Tuesday morning, prompting extensive security checks across Delhi, an officer said.
According to the police, an email warning that explosives had been planted on court premises was received early in the morning, after which security teams were deployed to inspect the district courts. The checks found no suspicious items.
At the same time, an unidentified caller rang the Police Control Room (PCR) around 9 am, asserting that bombs had been placed in the CRPF schools in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka.
In response, local police, bomb squads, and the Delhi Fire Services were immediately mobilised at each site.
