Hubballi, March 1 -- Mukul Saran Mathur assumed charge as General Manager of South Western Railway (SWR) here on Saturday.
An Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of the 1988 batch, he holds a Law degree from Delhi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
Prior to this assignment, Mathur served as Additional Member (Commercial) in the Railway Board. With a career spanning over three decades, he has held key positions in Central Railway, Northern Railway, East Coast Railway, West Central Railway, and the Railway Board in various capacities.
