Kolkata, Feb. 5 -- The stage for Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) is set to start shortly with the arrival of the investors, including business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, and foreign delegates on Wednesday.
West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said the much awaited BGBS is having preludes in the special meeting of the National Executive Committees of the Apex Chambers of Commerce and Industry, CII and FICCI.
"I joined them briefly to encourage investments in West Bengal from our national industry magnets as Bengal the destination." Banerjee said.
About 20 ambassadors and High Commissioners are assembling to represent their countries, while the Indian tycoons are coming en bloc often assisted by their chambers CIL, FICCI and ICC.
