Bengaluru, March 7 -- The Karnataka High Court on Friday quashed the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's wife, BM Parvathi, in connection with the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam case.

The Court also quashed the summons issued to State Minister Byrathi Suresh, who is not named as an accused but was sought to be questioned by the ED in the case.

The single-judge bench of Justice M Nagaprasanna passed the order while hearing the petitions filed by Parvathi and Suresh challenging the ED's summons. On January 27, the Court had stayed the summons issued to both individuals.
