Imphal, Dec. 8 -- A one-day sensitization programme on the Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 was held today by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Keishampat.
The event was jointly organised by the Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) and the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Government of Manipur.
Placing the focus firmly on the need for awareness and preventive mechanisms, MSCW Chairperson Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang said that it is "compulsory for both men and women to understand each other in sorting out any problem they face."
