Chennai, March 4 -- City-based tyre major MRF Ltd on Wednesday said it has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to set up a new plant in the state.
According to the company, the greenfield project will be developed at an investment of Rs 5,300 crore over a period of 12 years.
The plant will come up at the SIPCOT Industrial Estate in Sivaganga district.
