Mumbai, March 4 -- Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) chief spokesperson Atul Londhe on Monday sought clarification from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on allegations made by Advocate Asim Sarode.

Reacting in this regard, he said that Adv Sarode has made two serious allegations when rebel Shiv Sena MLAs were holed up in a five-star hotel in Guwahati while the then Maha Vikas Aghadi government was being toppled.

He said that as per Adv Sarode's allegations in an incident, there was an alleged attempt to molest and sexually assault an air-hostess in the lift of that five-star hotel and in another incident, two MLAs were beaten up, he said.
