Mumbai, Oct. 9 -- Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Harshavardhan Sapkal today strongly criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for indulging in a grand and glitzy inauguration ceremony of the Navi Mumbai International Airport to satisfy his obsession with publicity rather than uttering a single word about aid for the flood-hit farmers of the state.
Speaking on the issue, the Congress state president said that when Prime Minister Modi came to Mumbai, as usual, he praised himself.
Even at the inauguration of an unfinished airport, he focused only on criticising the Congress, he remarked and said he did not announce the naming of the new Navi Mumbai airport after the late D. B. Patil.
