Bhopal, March 8 -- In a horrific incident, four masked miscreants allegedly gangraped a 90-year-old woman inside her hut in an agricultural field of a village and then tried to throw her into a well in an attempt to kill her, but could not do so and fled, leaving the victim in a critically injured condition.
The shocking incident occurred in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh two nights ago, but came to light on Friday after the victim's family got her admitted in a serious condition to a hospital, and the police were informed.
The police have registered a case, and efforts are on to identify and nab the culprits.
