Bhopal, April 13 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav today asserted that this week will be historic for women's empowerment, as a three-day special session of Parliament is set to begin on April 16, during which the 'Nari Shakti Vandan' Act, 2023, aimed at providing 33 per cent reservation for women, will be presented for approval.
In an official statement, the CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that women in the country should receive 33 per cent representation in the Lok Sabha and State Legislative Assemblies.
