Bhopal, Sept. 7 -- As Chhattisgarh deals with floods, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that helping a neighbouring state is "our" responsibility.

"In keeping with that sentiment, a sum of Rs 5 crore is being provided by the dispensation besides a train-load of relief material". Flooding has caused widespread damage in Dantewada and many other areas.

The CM said that his government is constantly monitoring the conditions in the state's surroundings.

"Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, all governments are working with mutual coordination and sympathy and are together in times of difficulty and distress," he said in a message.
