Jabalpur, Aug. 23 -- union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will today inaugurate the state's largest flyover in Jabalpur.
The elevated corridor, constructed at a cost of Rs 1,052 crore, stretches 6.855 kilometers from Madan Mahal to Damoh Naka, aiming to transform Jabalpur's traffic system and give the city a metropolitan identity.
A key highlight of the project is a 192-metre-long single-span cable-stayed bridge built over the railway line. Additionally, three bowstring bridges, each about 70 metres long and made entirely of steel, have been constructed - two in the Ranital area and one in the Baldevgarh area.
