Dharamshala, Sept. 15 -- Member of Parliament Indu Goswami and Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma today participated in the TB elimination campaign and visited the Gyuto Karmapa Monastery in Sidhbari to extend support to the nationwide initiative.
Expressing concern over nearly 15,000 tuberculosis cases reported annually in Himachal Pradesh, MP Goswami underlined the need to intensify awareness, especially in rural areas, through regular health camps and education programmes. MLA Sudhir Sharma echoed the sentiment and reaffirmed his commitment to the vision of a "TB Mukt Bharat" (TB-free India).
