Bhopal, July 31 -- Madhya Pradesh Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya today informed the Assembly that the state dispensation is endeavouring to take back land given to the Centre in the event of the land lying vacant.

During the Question Hour, Vipin Jain (principal-opposition Congress) raised the issue of a certain community taking possession of shops constructed by the Housing Board in Mandsaur district.

Responding to the member, the Minister said, "The government is mulling housing such people in multi-storeyed buildings constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban 2.0."
