Mumbai, Feb. 23 -- The post-mortem report of Lok Sabha MP from Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Mohan S Delkar, who was found dead at a hotel in Mumbai, has confimed death by suicide, official sources said here on Tuesday.
The post-mortem was conducted at the government-run J J Hospital on Monday and thereafter, his body was handed over to his family, who took it to their home in Silvassa early on Tuesday for the last rites, said Mumbai Police spokesperson S Chaitanya.
The autopsy report said that the cause of death is 'asphyxia' due to hanging and the hospital has preserved the viscera for further analysis, if required.
