Bhopal, June 17 -- The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, resolved the issue of promotions pending for nine years for state government employees and officials in a meeting held here on Tuesday.

The decision was taken with consideration for the interests of employees and officials from all categories, including Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Yadav said the decision will result in approximately two lakh posts becoming vacant in government services after promotions, paving the way for fresh recruitments. UNI XC AKT RN
